Le Future? Hrmmm...
"Where do you want to work?"
"What course will you be taking in the near future?"
"What do you want to do?"
"Hey, when will you....."
Argh! My head's spinning with all these questions! Some people won't stop bugging you with these questions. But I guess it's normal, since I'm an ex-SPM student. Lately, I've been wondering about my future.
What will become of me in ten years time? To be precise, what will I become tomorrow? (because the word associated with 'future' is too mainstream).
It left me thinking, what do I really want to do?
These simple questions leads to other complex questions. Darn!
Well, whatever. I guess I'll list down the things that I want to be, or better known as 'my ambition'.Here goes :
1. Computer engineer
Ever since I was amazed with the advanced technology of modern-day computers, I've always wanted to become one of those who are able to create these futuristic gadgets. But due to certain circumstances, I can't. Not anymore. And it was kinda late of me to even realize that.
2. Criminal Psychologist
The main reason I wanted to become one is because I wanted to understand more behind the minds of a criminal. Some of them are very creative, if you didn't notice. I simply want to understand them, not to accuse them. And I want to treat them. The way they deserve, as 'humans', not 'animals'. Still, about 87% of my close family and friends are against it, saying that I don't deserve such fate. Well, how do you know? It's my future for me to embrace, not yours.
3. Child psychologist
I've met some kinds of people my age, did not grow up in a 'normal way'. They behave and react to certain stimuli different from a normal person would. After I've asked them about their childhood, I can do nothing but sympathize them. They don't deserve such treatment, and just needed someone to understand them. The child's mind is none but an innocent one. They are far more creative than adults, and doesn't need to be referred as a 'kid' if they are raised in a good environment. Hey, even adults act more childish than a child does most of the time!
4. Software Engineer / Computer Science
I wanted to contribute some things for my deen.
5. Graphic-related jobs
I wanted to be these kind of people out of my amazement toward their works.
6. Patissiere
I love to eat them, not make them! xD
Besides, I'm fail as a patissiere, as I only thinks that the texture is important, not the looks.
7. Musician
I don't learn any, but hey! I can always try out something new right?
8. Anything?
I don't even know.
The thing is, I'm not so sure of myself. I guess I better seek guidance from a job-guidance councilor. :/
The governments should hand out the 'what will you be in the future' forms to an undecisive person like me.
Out,
